Harris DA, Jack K, Wibberley C. The need to consider ‘temporality’ in person‐centred care of people with motor neurone disease. Journal of Evaluation in Clinical Practice. 2023; 1‐6. doi:10.1111/jep.13854
It has been a journey of trust and tenacity to get this paper published.
In February 2021, I learnt that the paper had been accepted for publication in the European Journal for Person Centered Healthcare (EJPCH) Vol 8 Issue 4. However, it did not make it to press because very sadly, Andrew Williamson, Senior Production Editor, passed away following a long struggle with chronic illness. In November 2022, I received notification from Andrew Miles, Editor-in-chief that the JECP Wiley will be publishing the paper. Today, we celebrate the publication of the open access journal, and I am sending my sincere gratitude to all those who supported me to get this valued paper published, including:
Joint authors - Professor Kirsten Jack and Dr Christopher Wibberley.
Editor-in-Chief - Professor Andrew Miles
Joint funders - Wiley and Manchester Metropolitan University

A healthcare professional supporting a client using the temporal model of care.
