In the first quarter of 2022, I launched the Lifeworld Approach to Care website (www.lifeworldapproach.com), this continues to grow and gain worldwide interest. In the last quarter I acknowledged the need for private occupational therapy assessments to reduce the NHS and Social occupational therapy services.
Also this year, I presented at two international conferences: ALS/MND professional Forum and the 33rd International Symposium on ALS/MND.
In addition, I learnt that my final paper entitled: The need to consider ‘temporality’ in person-centered care of people with motor neurone disease, is being published in a Wiley Publication - The Journal of Evaluation in Clinical Practice.
Finally, I announced my intention to run a rolling programme of therapeutic baking groups for people with neurological conditions. This programme has been considered a valuable therapeutic resource for Ryan and the team at Heads Up Therapies (www.headsuptherapy.com).
On a personal note, our family awaits the birth of a new baby boy due very soon. I am ready to make 2023 my best year yet, in every possible way.
