Reflecting on Lived Experiences

The Lifeworld Approach to Care is based on my research study findings and a developed person-centred care model that focuses on interpreting a person in a wider temporal frame and beyond the context of their illness/injury.

I use my knowledge and skills to understand a person's situation, including their world, losses, and potential for future rehabilitation. Based on this understanding, I make necessary recommendations to help the person live as they did before their illness or injury.

I specialise in preparing occupational therapy and care reports that comply with civil regulations and cover a range of complex injuries for court proceedings. The types of injuries and conditions I can report include brain injury, orthopaedic injury, progressive neurological disease, and palliative and end-of-life care.

I wish to thank those who have mentored and supported me this year, and I look forward to 2025.
